SympSimp was created to simplify the funeral planning process, after our founder was personally affected by the sudden loss of 1 of her 3 sisters. After several late nights/early mornings where she and her other sisters found themselves up at the kitchen table worrying that everything would be just right for this major event, it was clear there was a need to help funeral homes serve their clients with better technology.
SympSimp was seeded to help the next generation of planners and funeral home directors reduce burdens and stress and free up time for what’s truly matters-honoring, grieving, and healing.
SympSimp’s technology resolves the needs of three key stakeholders that are affected by the death of loved one; the provider, the consumer, and the community. Current solutions for funeral homes are inadequate, cumbersome, and create expensive overhead for these small businesses. The consumer during their time of grief, is faced with time consuming and analogue processes to plan a funeral for their loved ones in a traumatic time in their lives. The community has few outlets to support each other during the time of a loss. SympSimp has brought technology to this antiquated process to benefit each individual involved
